Meaning
Ya muqallibal-qulub means "O Turner of hearts" and thabbit qalbi 'ala dinik means "keep my heart firm on Your religion". Anas ibn Malik said the Prophet said this often. Anas asked whether he feared for them although they believed in him, and he said yes, because hearts are between two of the fingers of Allah and He turns them as He wills. Al-Tirmidhi recorded it, and in another narration he also recorded, Umm Salamah said it was the dua the Prophet made most often.
When to say it: Said often, especially in times of doubt, temptation or weak faith.
Also spelled Ya muqallibal qulub thabbit qalbi ala dinik, Ya muqallib al qulub sabbit qalbi, Dua for strong iman, Dua for steadfastness, Dua for a firm heart.

Common questions
What is the dua for strong iman?
Ya muqallibal-qulub, thabbit qalbi 'ala dinik. Umm Salamah said it was the dua the Prophet made most often. The Quran also teaches Rabbana la tuzigh qulubana ba'da idh hadaytana, "our Lord, do not let our hearts swerve after You have guided us", shown above.
Why would the Prophet ask for a firm heart?
To teach that faith rises and falls and that no one should feel safe from losing it. If he asked Allah for steadfastness, everyone else needs to even more.
