Common questions

What is the best dua for guidance?

Every Muslim asks for guidance at least 17 times a day in Surah Al-Fatihah: Ihdinas-siratal-mustaqim, "guide us to the straight path". This dua from Sahih Muslim is a short, complete prayer for guidance outside salah.

What does al-ghina mean here?

Not wealth, but being free of need: content with what Allah gives and not dependent on people. A hadith says real richness is richness of the soul.
