Dua for Entering the Masjid in Arabic

Allahummaftah li Abwaba Rahmatik

O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.

Meaning

Allahummaftah li means "O Allah, open for me" and abwaba rahmatik means "the doors of Your mercy". Abu Humayd or Abu Usayd reported that the Prophet told whoever enters the masjid to say this, and to say Allahumma inni as'aluka min fadlik, "O Allah, I ask You of Your bounty", when leaving. Muslim recorded it. Mercy is asked for on the way in, to worship, and bounty on the way out, back to work and daily life.

When to say it: Said when stepping into the masjid with the right foot. A second dua, asking for Allah's bounty, is said on leaving.

Also spelled Allahummaftahli abwaba rahmatik, Allahumma iftah li abwaba rahmatika, Dua for entering the mosque, Masjid dua.
