Dua for Travel in Arabic

Subhanal-ladhi Sakhkhara Lana Hadha wa ma Kunna Lahu Muqrinin, wa Inna ila Rabbina Lamunqalibun

Glory be to the One who has placed this at our service, for we could never have done it ourselves, and to our Lord we will surely return.

Meaning

Subhanal-ladhi means "glory be to the One who", sakhkhara lana hadha means "made this serve us", wa ma kunna lahu muqrinin means "and we could not have done it ourselves", and wa inna ila rabbina lamunqalibun means "and to our Lord we will return". The words are from Surah Az-Zukhruf, about riding animals and ships. Ibn Umar reported that the Prophet said Allahu Akbar three times when he mounted for a journey and then recited this. It appears in the Quran at 43:13.

When to say it: Said when setting off on a journey, after getting into a car, plane or train or onto any ride.
