In the name of Allah, with whose name nothing on earth or in the heavens can cause harm, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

Meaning

Bismillahil-ladhi means "in the name of Allah, the One", la yadurru ma'asmihi shay' means "with whose name nothing can harm", fil-ardi wa la fis-sama' means "on earth or in the heavens", and huwas-sami'ul-'alim means "He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing". Abu Dawud and al-Tirmidhi recorded it.

When to say it: Said three times in the morning and three times in the evening.
